Jonathan Dodson is the Engine Service Sales Manager in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Jonathan started with Duncan Aviation in 1991 as an airframe tech rep specializing in the HS125 series. He became one of the company's original 12 project managers in 1992. He moved into his current role in 1994. Prior to Duncan Aviation, Jonathan worked as an A&P technician for Dick Martin's Marginal Airmotive, restoring WWII Warbirds. He also worked as a TFE731 technician for then Garrett AiResearch in Long Beach, LAX, and Long Island, and for AVCO Corporation and Champion Intl. Paper in their flight departments. His experience is with the TFE731, Lockheed Jetstar, 1121 Jet Commander, Citation II, Challenger 600, HS125/700, Jetstar 731, Falcon 20, Falcon 50 and G-1.
Jonathan attended the college of Aeronautical Engineering at the Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, California. He has an A&P license and Private Pilot's license for single engine land. He enjoys the interaction with operators; talking about flight operations, daily challenges and overcoming obstacles in aviation.
Aviation has always been a passion. Jonathan's dad introduced him to aviation at a very young age. He enjoys the classic warbirds and military aviation. He attends the Reno Air Races to experience the past, present and future of aviation. Jonathan enjoys collecting and playing guitars and has played in many successful performing groups over the years. He enjoys anything automotive, from Formula 1 racing to restoring hot rods.
