Accessory Expansion Underway
Duncan’s Accessory Shop is being expanded. This added space will allow us to more efficiently process workloads, speed up turntimes and allow for additional test equipment and exchange unit storage. Our time & material exchange program includes advantages like:
- Exchange price = Overhaul your core unit + a small exchange fee
- Only one removal and installation
- A minimum of downtime
For more information about our accessory capabilities, please contact Chris Gress at 1.800.228.4277.
Astra Flap / Slat Health Check
Having trouble with your flap/slat system? Duncan Aviation has the latest digital test equipment to check it and perform the necessary repairs.
Duncan Aviation has also developed an STC to install heat blankets on each flap and slat actuator to help prevent extreme cold soak conditions from affecting the operation of the flap or slat systems. The system is fully automatic and provides cockpit indication of a failure. Installation is fairly simple and can be done during a C-check inspection.
For more information, please call Tim Klenke or Tim Garity at 1.800.228.4277.

Duncan's Completions Experts and Designers Keep Ease of Maintenance in Mind
Duncan’s Interior Modifications area has developed complete shell replacements and shell treatments to significantly improve cabin area maintenance.
For example, our new PSU system incorporates the oxygen boxes, airvents, reading lights, cabin speakers, fluorescent lights and power supplies. The one-person job of replacing bulbs requires no tools. The contoured composite cover panel has a positive locking system incorporated that requires nothing more than pulling the panels off and pushing them back on, as they are easy to line up and require minimal effort. To replace power supplies, speakers, airvents or reading lights, all that is required is a Phillips screwdriver. The PSU systems, available with up and downwash fluorescent lights, was designed for all Westwinds, Astras and Astra SPX’s.
For more info, call Jeannine Falter or Tracey Boesch at 1.800.228.4277.
Duncan’s Interior Expertise Can Update Your Shell
Older Astra interiors can be updated with SPX-style cabinetry and our own SPX shell treatment, which gives older Astra sidewalls with separate window doughnuts a new Astra-style one-piece look.
