Astra Aileron Pressure Seals Failing

Duncan Aviation Astra Technicians have noticed an emerging trend within the Astra fleet. At fuselage station 193.0, the aileron push-pull tubes transition through the pressure vessel. In this area, we are finding pressure seals cracked and deteriorating leaking pressurization.

In the Astra IPC, 27-10-00, figure 4, items 630/640 you will find a good diagram of this location and the parts breakdown. These seals can be replaced during any scheduled inspection.
