Honeywell recently issued an Engine Information Topic (CFE-2007-EIT-002) which can be found on the Honeywell website www.e-engines. honeywell.com, that addresses several temporary revisions for the Routine, Minor and Borescope inspection intervals. The temporary revisions are:
- TR 5-30, Chapter 5-11-00 Time Limits.
- TR’s 5-27, 5-28 and 5-29, Chapter 5-21-00 Engine Inspection Programs.
- TR 72-178, Chapter 72-00-00 Inspection.
- TR 72-179, Chapter 72-00-00 Inspection Contents.

Falcon 50 Full Motion Simulator with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21

FlightSafety International will have a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Dassault Falcon 50 Full Motion Simulator at the Wilmington/Greater Philadelphia Learning Center. The simulator is scheduled to be operational by second quarter 2008 and will provide training for present and future Falcon 50 Pro Line 21 retrofit customers. Customers will have access to a full motion simulator designed specifically for Pro Line 21 retrofitted Falcon 50s.
Customers who are operating the standard Falcon 50 can continue attending Falcon 50 courses offered at the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Paris facilities.

Duncan Aviation has completed 15 Pro Line 21 installations and believes Falcon 50 operators will continue to upgrade systems because of the value it brings to the aircraft while improving cockpit situational awareness.
Glass Box Project Solution for Falcon 2000 and 50EX Underway

Duncan Aviation and Rockwell Collins are developing an STC for installation of Pro Line 21 Flat-Panel LCD Displays in Falcon 2000 and 50EX models equipped with Pro Line 4. This 4 —> 21 conversion includes dual integrated IFIS with electronic charts, real-time graphic weather, enhanced maps and an excellent growth path. Both are planned for 2008 certification.
