Raytheon Aircraft Company Named Duncan Aviation As Its Newest Authorized “Hawker Service Center”
With this designation, Duncan Aviation-LNK and its Hawker operator customer base will receive all the support services and warranty authorization capabilities associated with the Raytheon Factory Service Center designation.
For more information about this exciting development for Hawker operators, please contact Jeff Manion in LNK at 800.228.4277 or contact Pete Kilmartin in BTL at 800.525.2376.
Clarification Is On The Way
Hawker 800 operators who are complying with inspection procedures as stated in the newly released flex schedule need to pay particular attention to references that direct them to the General Lubrication section part 7, Ml/M2, as this section is not listed. Raytheon engineering is aware of this situation and plans are in place to clarify.
For more info, contact Jeff Manion in LNK at 800.228.4277 or contact Pete Kilmartin in BTL at 800.525.2376.
A Cracked Lens On Your Wing Ice Detect Light Can Be Tricky
If you have a RH wing ice detect light on your chin fairing with a cracked lens, be aware that this is not standard and the Raytheon lens will not fit. The LH wing ice detect light is standard equipment; the RH light is an Ark Mod. Order P/N 7338-1590-5 for replacement.
Please contact Dick Hyde in LNK at 800.228.4277 or Roy Olsen in BTL at 800.525.2376 for more information.

Thinking About An N Number Change?
If you plan on changing the registration number of your aircraft and you currently have an LOA (Letter of Authorization) to operate your aircraft in the North Atlantic Minimum Navigation Performance Specification airspace, then prior to changing the registration number, you must notify the Flight Standard District Office that issued your LOA of your intentions. They will contact the manager of the FAA RVSM Data Base who will update the FAA RVSM records and notify the International Civil Aviation Organization about the change in your number.
For more info, contact Bob Stickler in BTL at 800.525.2376 or contact Gary Harpster in LNK at 800.228.4277.
Do You Need A Digital Flight Data Recorder For Your 800A?
Duncan Aviation Engineering is in the process of receiving an STC for a Digital Flight Data Recorder in Hawker 800A's. This STC is to accommodate European aircraft which are being required to comply with JAR regulations by the year 2002.
