"Phasing" an Interior Refurbishment

An interior refurbishment can be effectively “phased” over several years by matching the various levels of interior refurbishment with annual and routine airframe maintenance events. Phasing an interior refurbishment allows you to reduce overall downtime and costs, add additional value by amortizing refurbishment costs over the aircraft life cycle, and keep the aircraft in pristine condition.

Developing an Interior Maintenance Plan

Interior maintenance plans target all aspects of an interior and are unique to each operator. Duncan Aviation’s team of  interior refurbishment professionals will evaluate and estimate the lifespan of your interior and develop a specific Phased Interior Maintenance schedule for your aircraft. This schedule pairs interior refurbishment events with annual airframe inspections of similar downtimes that require removal and reinstallation of the same interior components.

Operator Training & Preventive Maintenance

Duncan Aviation will train operators on ways they can perform annual evaluations of the interior condition, how to make note of functionality and appearance, and ways to perform ongoing maintenance to prevent small items from turning into larger problems.   We will also help you effectively develop a budget and plan for your next multi-shop event, which will allow you to prepare for these events three to four months in advance.
