Dan Svoboda, Duncan Aviation-Lincoln Paint Shop Manager for 13 Years, Dies at Age 50

LINCOLN, NEB. - Duncan Aviation regretfully announces that Dan Svoboda, Paint Shop Manager at the Lincoln, Nebraska, facility for 13 years, died in April at the age of 50.
A Duncan Aviation employee for 22 years, Svoboda was instrumental in developing Duncan Aviation's Paint capabilities into what they are today.
"Dan Svoboda was more than an employee of Duncan Aviation," says Mark Cote, a Duncan Aviation Program Manager. "He was a friend, a leader, a mentor, a father figure, a comedian, and a practical joker. Dan was respected by the people he worked with as well as the people he associated with in the industry. He was the friend, employee, manager and person we would all like to be and he will be missed."
Svoboda is survived by his wife, Linda; four children, Dan Svoboda, Kim Brown, Jamie Dallegge, and Nate Svoboda; and seven grandchildren, Logan, Kelsey & Bailey Brown; Alissa, Samuel & Julia Lesoing and Mason Dallegge.
Duncan Aviation is an aircraft service provider with 1,800 employees supporting the aviation needs of government and business operators and other service providers.
