Duncan Aviation Awarded STC for 1125 Astra Interior

LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation recently earned certification for its IAI Astra 1125 interior package. The package is certified for all IAI 1125s including the Astra, Astra SP and the Astra SPX, for which it was originally designed. This package is certified for several floorplan configurations to ensure a great deal of design customization.
Duncan Aviation has completed more than 35 of these interior packages. This experience has created efficiencies that allow Duncan Aviation to offer an unbeatable turntime. The sophisticated design includes:
- A shell package designed with a wider appearance and easy access to PSUs
- Contemporary and innovative lighting systems
- Latest-generation pleated window shades with a manual slide-across handle
- A galley design that maximizes the limited space in the forward cabin
- An optional XGA high-resolution 15" monitor mounted and supported by a Duncan Aviation exclusive design
- Pocket doors that stow entirely into the bulkheads creating a wider access alley to the flightdeck and lavatory
- A customized soundproofing kit providing ultimate thermal and acoustic insulation
- Cabin seats by Decrane/Erda featuring full berthing, rounded adjustable arms and easy glide adjustment
- Lavatory with removable vanity for access to aft avionics and faucets with infrared sensors
