Duncan Aviation Awarded STC for Cabin Chair Replacement Foam in Citation X
July 7, 2003
LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation recently earned certification to fabricate replacement foam cushions for the cabin chairs in the Citation X. The STC gives Duncan Aviation the ability to fabricate new foam cushions during the re-upholstery of the cabin seats and ensures the cabin seats comply with FAR 25.562 dynamic certification requirements of the aircraft.
In addition to the Citation X, Duncan Aviation has plans to obtain STC approval for replacement cushions on the following aircraft with dynamically certified seats: Citation 525, Citation 560 XL, Lear 45, Falcon 2000 and Gulfstream V. This certification will create efficiencies that allow Duncan Aviation to offer exceptional value and turntime for refurbishment of these aircraft.
