Duncan Aviation Receives High Marks from Customers/Industry in Professional Pilot Magazine’s PRASE Survey
April 21, 2004
LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation recently received high marks from readers of Professional Pilot magazine in the publication’s 2004 PRASE Survey. Dubbed the PRASE Survey for “Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment,” this contest ranks organizations that provide support services for corporate class aircraft. The contest is recognized by the aviation industry as the principal authority on who is the best-of-the-best in corporate aircraft service.
Duncan Aviation facilities were named as the top three avionics facilities in the United States. In the “Best Avionics Center” category, which rates avionic and instrument repair/overhaul and installation services, Duncan Aviation-Lincoln (Nebraska) was named the #1 Avionics Center. Duncan Aviation-Battle Creek (Michigan) was ranked as the #2 Avionics Center. And Duncan Aviation-Teterboro (New Jersey) was voted #3. Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln facility has been named #1 since the survey’s inception in 1985. For the last three years, Duncan Aviation has swept the top three spots in the avionics category.
In the category of “Best Maintenance Center,” which ranks airframe and engine maintenance, repair and support, Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln facility was named the “#1 Maintenance Center” in the United States. The facility has held that position for 17 of the past 18 years. (In 1988, Duncan Aviation-Lincoln was rated #2). Duncan Aviation-Battle Creek was named #5 in this category.
“We are thrilled that customers and others in the corporate aviation industry continuously rank our customer service, quality and technical expertise as the best in the industry,” says Aaron Hilkemann, President of Duncan Aviation. “We wouldn’t be able to earn these high rankings without the dedication, hard work and expertise of our employees. I’d like to thank them for another job well done.”
According to Professional Pilot magazine, the purpose of the PRASE Survey is to recognize those facilities providing superior service and encourage others to reach for a higher benchmark of excellence. The full results of the contest will be published in the July issue of Professional Pilot magazine.
