Duncan Aviation Adds More Than $3.5 Million in Inventory for Hawker Landing Gear Overhaul & Repair Services
December 13, 2004
LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce a Hawker Landing Gear inventory purchase in support of the Repair and Overhaul Program for Hawker Landing Gear. This inventory purchase covers the following Hawker models: 1A thru 700, 800, 800XP & 1000 and is the most complete stockpile of gear parts in the industry. Worth more than $3.5 million, the inventory includes hundreds of piece part line items and more than 160 assemblies such as main struts, nose struts, main stays and nose drag stays for all Hawker models.
“This inventory purchase was key to Duncan Aviation’s goal of 1 to 2 week downtime for Hawker Landing Gear Overhauls,” says Chris Gress, Accessory Technical Sales Representative for Duncan Aviation.
Both the inventory and landing gear overhaul services are located at Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska, facility. Duncan Aviation also has “dumby roll-around gear,” allowing the aircraft to be moved from one phase to the next while undergoing Maintenance, Paint, Avionics or Interior upgrades at a Duncan Aviation facility.
Because of the recent changes in inspection requirements mandated by Raytheon Aircraft Company, Duncan Aviation has “geared up” to provide Hawker operators with superior support services to manage the expected inundation of landing gear in 2005.
