Duncan Aviation to Provide Sales and Service for Securaplane / Hawker Battery Units

LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation has signed an agreement with Securaplane Technologies to provide sales and service on the Hawker pure lead SLA batteries. The Hawker mainship battery is a true no-maintenance pure lead battery which can be shipped as NON-Hazardous/NON-Spillable. The battery can also be stored fully charged for up to 24 months with no on-going maintenance or top-charging of the battery. The full replacement warranty on these long-lasting batteries is 30 months from the date of installation.

Due to this improved design and manufacturing technology, as well as the method of rating the batteries, the Hawker battery typically produces more cold cranking amps than similarly rated NiCad or lead calcium/lead antimony batteries.

Securaplane also manufactures emergency power supplies and back-up system batteries. The agreement between Duncan Aviation and Securaplane covers the Hawker aircraft mainship batteries as well as the Securaplane emergency batteries.
