Duncan Aviation Facilities Host "Chart-Topping Road Show" EventsDuncan Aviation's 50th Anniversary Celebration
January 18, 2006
LINCOLN, NEB. - In 1956, Donald Duncan sold his successful new car dealership to enter the fledgling business aviation industry. His courage, vision, leadership and hard work helped form the most respected aircraft support facilities in the world-Duncan Aviation.
For 50 years, this unique, family-owned, multi-generational company has been dedicated to delivering chart-topping customer service and industry innovations for tens of thousands of aviation enthusiasts worldwide. Donald's well-known aviation experiences and legacy continue to inspire new generations of aviation enthusiasts today. Duncan Aviation invites you to take a journey back in time with us throughout 2006 as we celebrate our 50th anniversary of achieving Donald's dream.
Our celebration includes many aspects that are uniquely Duncan Aviation. For example:
- We purchased a beautiful 1956 Chevy Bel Air that will go "on tour" throughout the year. It will be present at celebration parties throughout the United States and will be awarded to a lucky customer at next year's National Business Aviation Association Annual Meeting and Trade Show in October.
- We published a special anniversary edition of our Duncan Debrief magazine. This issue pays tribute to the major driving forces in the formation of Duncan Aviation, tells the company's history and provides a glimpse of Duncan Aviation and life in general from 1956 through today.
- We produced a special audio CD of Duncan Aviation's "Chart-Topping Hits of '56." This unique CD is a compilation of songs that made the list of the top 100 songs of 1956. They were chosen and performed by Duncan Aviation team members with special musical talents.
- We are hosting customer and team member "Chart-Topping Road Show" celebrations at all of our locations
Stay tuned for more information about these and other celebration plans. It will be a fun year!
