Duncan Aviation Lands U.S. Navy Landing Gear Contract

LINCOLN, NEB. - The United States Navy recently announced that it has awarded Duncan Aviation a multi-year contract to overhaul landing gear on the Navy's fleet of T-34 and T-44 aircraft. Under terms of the agreement, Duncan Aviation will complete approximately 150 sets of landing gear each year through September 2010. The T-34 and T-44 aircraft are used by the Navy in its Pilot Training Program and are based in Florida and Texas.
Duncan Aviation is an aircraft service provider with 1,800 employees supporting the aviation needs of government and business providers. These services include airframe, engine, avionics installations, interior and paint completions/modifications, avionics/instrument and accessory/propeller repair/overhaul and parts support. Complete service facilities are located in Lincoln, Neb., and Battle Creek, Mich. Additional locations include 20 satellite avionics facilities located throughout the United States, a line service/regional support operation in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Lincoln-based Parts Support Services, a division that sells and consigns general aviation parts to aircraft operators and service organizations worldwide.
