LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation and Securaplane are pleased to announce a new option available to aircraft operators interested in the highest level of security possible. Over the last few years, Duncan Aviation has certified and installed Securaplane’s legacy aircraft security systems on several aircraft. The companies are now excited to offer a quick and easy upgrade option to the new PreFlite security system.
Securaplane’s new PreFlite System expands upon its existing reliable security system to provide worldwide, real-time, event notification and remote system control / interrogation via your GSM-connected cell phone or land line. Other new features of the Securaplane PreFlite system include new, patented high-reliability RCR-01 wheelwell sensor.
The system upgrade advantages include:
- Quick and easy upgrade from Systems 500 and 450 – minimal downtime
- Enhanced communication - system calls and/or texts your cell phone to report intrusions
- Ability to arm, disarm and check status from any phone
- No need to carry a dedicated transceiver
- More reliable, new radar-based wheelwell sensors
- No range limit – works wherever there is standard GSM 2G coverage
