Duncan Aviation-Provo Named Bombardier Authorized Service Center
October 18, 2010
LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation's Authorized Service Center agreement with Bombardier Aerospace was officially extended to include Duncan Aviation's newest maintenance facility, which is located in Provo, Utah. Duncan Aviation-Provo joins Duncan Aviation's full-service facilities in Lincoln, Neb., and Battle Creek, Mich., as a Bombardier Authorized Service Center.
Duncan Aviation-Provo is now an Authorized Service Center for Bombardier products, including scheduled and unscheduled warranty and maintenance work for the Learjet 40, Learjet 45 and Learjet 60 aircraft as well as for Challenger 300 and Challenger 600 Series aircraft. The company will also provide line service and around-the-clock aircraft-on-ground (AOG) services for Global Express and Global 5000 business jets.
Duncan Aviation-Provo Executive Vice President and General Manager Bill Prochazka had this to say: "Duncan Aviation has a long history with Learjets and in 1967 was named the first Learjet Authorized Service Center. We have built on this history and continue to have a great partnership with Bombardier and the entire Bombardier line of products. We are pleased with their continued confidence in the quality and reliability of our services and find that this is a confidence shared by our mutual customers. We look forward to welcoming those customers to our new facility, which is strategically located to deliver maintenance and repair services across the western United States."
On August 1, Duncan Aviation opened its doors in Provo. The facility is staffed and equipped to provide major and minor hourly and calendar inspections as well as line-level engine and avionics support. Duncan Aviation-Provo is also beginning the process of obtaining authorizations for the Embraer Phenom 100 and 300 and the Legacy.
