Duncan Aviation Uses iPad® App for Downtime Consultations with Clients
October 3, 2011
LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation will be offering downtime consultations to clients at NBAA this year through an iPad® app. The app will feature graphs depicting cost and downtime for large airframe inspections for Falcon, Learjet and Challenger aircraft. The graphs are intended to be used in a conversation between the company's maintenance experts and aircraft operators. The app is designed to help operators better understand where their aircraft may fit in with the historical data and help them make a more accurate cost and downtime budget for their next major maintenance event.
"We know that there are a lot of questions that need to be answered when budgeting for a large maintenance event," says John Slieter, Vice President of Service Sales for Duncan Aviation. "Our experience can help our clients understand the variables that have an impact on cost and downtime. This app is a new tool to help our customers make the most accurate cost and downtime assessment possible."
