LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation delivered a Bombardier Global Express this summer after completely customizing the interior, giving it an entirely new exterior paint scheme and upgrading the cabin electronics.
This large, multi-shop project, which delivered on time, was initially set in motion when Mary Lee, Sr. Completions Designer, captured the owner’s request for a sporty yet sophisticated interior by creating an extensive conceptual design package using 3D imaging. Lee designed an interior with unique features, including blue carbon fiber highlights and blue LED accent lights that enhanced the sleek, modernized environment. Carrying through some of the more eye-catching details from the interior to the exterior, Lee’s one-of-a-kind, striking paint scheme is designed to be noticed.
The certified, Duncan Aviation-designed and fabricated stainless steel steps provide a dramatic entrance to the Global.
Our avionics team installed the Gogo Biz ATG-5000 and SwiftBroadband systems with the SDR wireless router for seamless worldwide Internet connectivity. The team also upgraded the cabin with the latest in technology, the Rockwell Collins Venue Cabin Management System (CMS). The HD-capable Venue CMS features both touchscreen and iPad wireless control of all cabin systems. iPad side-ledge mounts were installed in the flightdeck to allow pilots to conveniently and simultaneously charge and access information on their iPads.
