LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation was recently shortlisted for the Private Jet Design Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2018. Hosted by leading interior design magazine Design et al and leading yacht and aviation design magazine Luxe et al, The International Yacht & Aviation Awards reward the best in design from across the globe.

The International Yacht & Aviation Awards are now in their 8th year. They are the only design-focused awards for the industry.

Duncan Aviation’s entry was designed by Senior Designer Mary Lee, who transformed the interior of a Bombardier Global Express from its traditional, outdated neutral environment to one of modern luxury. In order to create a truly unique experience for the owner, the design concept began by incorporating blue carbon fiber and painted cabinetry in place of traditional wood veneer. The blue carbon fiber served as the unifying element to achieve balance throughout the cabin and was the focal point of the bulkhead dividers.
