Follow Over the last decade, our customer base has continued to purchase larger aircraft while our paint facilities in Lincoln have remained the same for 20 years. We completed a larger paint facility at our Battle Creek, Michigan location in September 2007. Our newest paint expansion will provide full exterior paint services in Lincoln, Nebraska to our customers who fly larger business aircraft.
The expansion broke ground on May 1, 2011 and is scheduled to open in April of 2012. The planned facility will have the latest down-draft air flow technology, including automatic monitoring and alarms, to provide the best paint environment possible for aircraft.
To increase efficiency, the hangar is designed to accommodate multiple aircraft at once, utilizing a two-zone airflow system. With this design, our paint teams can perform stripping, sanding, painting and detail work on multiple aircraft simultaneously.
Duncan Aviation's Aircraft Paint Services
Duncan Aviation provides complete, custom paint refurbishment and completion services. Our refined paint process prolongs the lifetime of these finishes, protecting an aircraft from the elements for years. Modern paint booths produce a very high quality product, and are environmentally conscious. We offer a three year/1,500 hour warranty on exterior paint finishes.
