Free STC Letters Through 2012
Securplane will not charge the normal $378 fee for any STC battery sold through 2012.
High Capacity, SLA Aircraft Batteries
Securaplane aircraft batteries save about $30,000 over the course of a ten-year period when compared with NiCad and comparable Sealed Lead Acid batteries.
These batteries contain pure, lead-tin plates in the main current carrying structures. The plates are very thin, which allows each cell to hold more plates and results in a very high discharge rate and recharge capacity.
Securaplane batteries need no regular maintenance, have no memory effect, and don’t suffer from fading. Depending on operation and use, the battery can last up to five years before reblocking. They take about one hour to install.

Full Replacement Warranty
Securaplane Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Main Ship Batteries offer a full replacement warranty up to 30 months from date of installation. The first capacity check isn’t due until 12 or 18 months depending on application. Two internal 12V “monoblocs” are replaced at the end of useful life at sizeable savings compared to a new battery; once reblocked, they receive the “new” full battery warranty again.
