Duncan Aviation warrants the following to be free of defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and excluding normal wear items, for the following periods:

Evaluation Charges

Repair estimates may require at least a partial repair of the unit. In these cases, we invest parts and labor in the unit to arrive at a meaningful "estimate." Therefore, when a repair estimate is refused, that unit will bear evaluation charges for time and materials.

Repairs

The warranty period is 6 months for business aircraft use, and 90 days or 500 hours whichever comes first for airline use from the date the repair is complete. This warranty does not give full coverage on any failure during this period, but covers the parts and labor used in the previous repair.

Exceptions & Exclusions

Costs of removal and installation must be paid by the customer. The warranty is void if the unit shows abuse, alternations, broken seals, improper installation or improper packaging for shipment. This warranty is the only express warranty made and there are no other express warranties except as made herein. Repair and replacement as provided herein are the exclusive remedies for a breach of this warranty. Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular use are limited in duration to the express warranty given herein. There is no warranty covering consquential damages or incidental expenses, and Duncan Aviation shall not be liable for any such claim. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Time & Material Overhauls & Flat Rate Overhauls

The warranty period is one year for business aircraft use, and six months or 750 hours whichever comes first for airline use. The warranty covers all labor and the parts replaced during the overhaul.

Pre-owned Units Purchased Outright from Duncan Aviation

Warranty on pre-owned and surplus units purchased outright from Duncan Aviation will be determined at the time of purchase.

Function Check Flat Rates

These flat rates include functional testing of the unit on the bench. They do not cover any evaluation or troubleshooting.

Product Replacement

Duncan Aviation will either repair or replace any work or material that breaches this warranty if the product is immediately returned to us, transportation costs prepaid by the customer. Duncan Aviation shall determine which of the two remedies (repair or replacement) will be provided for each product properly returned.
