Duncan Aviation Encourages European Operators to Complete ADS-B Upgrades Now 05.25.2018

Duncan Aviation is aware, as are most of its European customers, that the European Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA’s) deadline for upgrading to Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is approaching quickly. Owner/operators who need to retrofit their aircraft have until midnight on June 6, 2020, to meet the terms of the mandate. Aircraft must be equipped with a GPS position source (such as a certified WAAS GPS antenna) and a 1090-megahertz Mode S Extended squitter transponder to relay the information to air traffic control (ATC).

Duncan Aviation has been busy installing a number of Honeywell Aerospace JetWave hardware systems, allowing customers who fly globally to connect to Inmarsat’s GX (Global Xpress) Ka-band, high-speed broadband service, Jet ConneX. CJ3 Pro Line Fusion® Upgrades Underway at Duncan Aviation Locations in Nebraska, Michigan and Utah 03.06.2018

A year after Duncan Aviation delivered the first Citation CJ3 aircraft equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion® integrated avionics upgrade, the company has seen great demand and is spooling up additional installation locations to make the upgrade even more convenient for customers. The first eight aircraft were completed at Duncan Aviation’s facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. In April, Pro Line Fusion installations will also be in work at Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Michigan, and Provo, Utah, locations. Duncan Aviation has 11 CJ3 upgrades completed or in work with a total of 25 commitments.

Duncan Aviation Significantly Increases Engine Rental Pool Size 01.08.2018

To meet increased demand from engine customers, Duncan Aviation increased its available pool of rental turbine engines by 33% in 2017. This pool now includes several rental engines for the following engine models: HTF7000, HTF7350 and TFE731 (-2C, -3, -5B, -20, -40, and -60).
