LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Bryan Davis has accepted the position of Manager of the Dallas, Texas, Satellite Avionics facilities. Opened by Kent Beal on September 11, 1988, Davis will be only the second manager of the Dallas Satellite in its 29-year history.
In a bit of symmetry, Beal retired on June 16, which was 21 years to the day that he hired Davis to help with avionics installations and learn line service work at the Dallas Satellite.
“I’ve worked for and with Kent Beal for many years, and he’s my friend,” says Manager of Satellite Operations, Matt Nelson. “As difficult as it is to say goodbye to Kent, and as much as I’ll miss him, I do wish him well. We’re also excited that Bryan Davis will be taking over the leadership position in Dallas. He’s also a long-time Duncan Aviation team member with a great deal of experience and high-level skills. Our customers in north Texas will be in good hands.”
Davis went to Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science and his A&P license in 1993. In the ensuing years, Davis worked with Beal for 15 years in Dallas, moved on to a location Duncan Aviation used to have in Chicago for two years, and has spent the last nearly five years at the St. Louis Satellite facility. All of those years of building skills and experience have lead Davis to the Dallas position.
“I value the professional work ethic and dedication of all of the team members at Duncan Aviation and feel privileged to work with the very best people in the aviation industry,” says Davis. “Because of how well Duncan Aviation treats its customers and its team members, working here makes me feel a part of something very special. I’ve found that if you work hard and continue to learn, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.”
In his spare time, Davis enjoys hiking, sailing, going to hear live music, and traveling. His daughter Nicole was recently married and lives in the Dallas area, so Davis will be able to spend more time with her, too.
