Duncan Aviation Customers Riding The JetWave

LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation has been busy installing a number of Honeywell Aerospace JetWave hardware systems, allowing customers who fly globally to connect to Inmarsat’s GX (Global Xpress) Ka-band, high-speed broadband service, Jet ConneX. Owner/operators who fly large-cabin aircraft and need worldwide Internet connectivity have faster options with Honeywell’s JetWave and Imarsat’s Ka-band broadband satellite network.

Duncan Aviations Avionics Installation Techs have installed or are scheduled to install JetWave in the following makes and models:

  • Bombardier Global Express
  • Dassault Falcon 2000EX
  • Dassault Falcon 7X
  • Gulfstream G550
  • Gulfstream GIV

“Our large-cabin customers who fly internationally are excited about the new class of satellite-based connectivity options,” says Avionics Sales Representative Steve Elofson. “JetWave takes advantage of the greater speeds of Inmarsat’s GX Ka-band satellite service, which provides the means to stay connected and productive worldwide.”

Because the Duncan Aviation techs have gained experience with each installation, turntimes have dropped and can be completed in as few as 14 calendar days. As a Honeywell JetWave Center of Excellence, Duncan Aviation is able to install the Honeywell JetWave at several of its Satellites and at its MRO facilities in Battle Creek, Michigan; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Provo, Utah.

In addition, Honeywell’s JetWave Demo Tour will make stops at Duncan Aviation’s Houston Satellite from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on May 10 and at Duncan Aviation’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on May 14.
