LINCOLN, NEB. — Set for delivery in January 2015, Duncan Aviation is installing Honeywell Aerospace’s Ovation Select Cabin Management System (CMS) in a Falcon F50EX based in Europe.
The Ovation Select is an all-digital CMS that allows passengers to control both in-flight entertainment and environmental conditions ─ including lighting, seats, temperature, galley and window shades ─ with a simple touch-screen interface at the seat, or from the convenience of a mobile electronic device.
“An all-digital CMS is the ultimate in high-definition entertainment, business productivity and connectivity,” said Mike Morgan, an Avionics Installations Sales Rep for Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Michigan, location. “And Ovation Select is ideal for the Falcon platform, including the F50EX.”
This aircraft is the first Falcon 50EX Duncan Aviation has equipped with Ovation Select and it joins nearly 80 Ovation aircraft worldwide flying with the state-of-the-art system including the Boeing 777; Bombardier Global Express; Embraer Legacy 500, Legacy 650 and Lineage 1000; Falcon 900; and Gulfstream G550.
