Duncan Aviation to Provide Avionics Support in Vail

LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation and Vail Valley Jet Center have teamed up to provide avionics services to operators requiring avionics assistance and services at Eagle County Regional Airport in Vail, Colo.

Starting December 1, Beau Hawkins, a Duncan Aviation avionics technician with the Duncan Aviation satellite avionics location in Denver, will be available to provide avionics services to operators at the Eagle County Airport. Hawkins has 13 years of avionics experience, two of them with Duncan Aviation.

“We know that many operators whose aircraft spend time at the Eagle County Regional Airport during ski season invariably require avionics assistance,” says Matt Nelson, Manager of Duncan Aviation’s avionics satellite shop network. “This arrangement with Vail Valley Jet Center and our Denver satellite avionics shop will allow us to respond quickly to those needs.”

“We are excited to have a Duncan Aviation presence working with us here at Vail Valley Jet Center this winter,” says Mike James, Vail Valley Jet Center’s Director of Aircraft Maintenance. “We are pleased to be able to serve our customers at their convenience in the Colorado high country.”
