PROVO, UTAH — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Mina Perry has joined the company’s Human Resources team and will be working out of the Provo, Utah, office. Perry brings more than 3 years of human resources, training, and development experience to her position, as she has served in the human resources department at Brigham Young University since 2015. With this new addition, the company looks to more effectively recruit and manage team members, as well as train and develop them for success.
During her time as a student at Brigham Young University, Perry gained experience working as a wellness coordinator for the human resources department at the school. She also helped in the training and development of BYU employees. She is near completion of obtaining her degree in exercise and wellness from BYU. In her role at Duncan Aviation, Perry will be responsible for making contact with future employees, preparing their paperwork, setting up orientation, and many other various tasks that pertain to human resources and team member services.
“With all of the growth and employee relocations that we’ve been having, it’s been really important to stay organized, keep tabs on our team members, and give them a good first few days of experience so we can create a strong precedence for how things will go in the future,” Perry says. “Since Duncan Aviation is at a pinnacle of their growth in Utah, this was a great opportunity for me.”
Perry was previously an administrative assistant and wellness program coordinator for Human Resource Development at Brigham Young University. She has spent time in several countries, including Ukraine for 18 months as part of a mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as well as Ecuador, Australia, and Thailand where she attended high school. She enjoys spending time outdoors and visiting the many national parks in the Provo-Orem area.
