Duncan Aviation President Aaron Hilkemann Announces Mid-Year Semi-Retirement

Duncan Aviation announced today that Aaron Hilkemann, President of Duncan Aviation, will retire from the President position on July 1 of this year and move to Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Advisors, a newly created part-time position. He will be succeeded by Jeff Lake, the current Chief Operating Officer for Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska, facility.

With Four Weeks Left In 2019, Duncan Aviation Is Hearing About Delays In Equipment Delivery Dates

As we stop counting weeks and start counting days until the FAA’s January 1, 2020, deadline for upgrading aircraft to Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast, Duncan Aviation has experienced delays in equipment delivery dates. Anticipating this possibility earlier this year, the company invested in Global Positioning System (GPS) and Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) sensors and recievers from a variety of manufacturers.
