Dassault requires that after discharge of a fire bottle, whether by accident or intention, the rubber silicone nipple that is underneath the engine “green sheet” be replaced.
P/N 18961A is applicable to the Classic F2000 and all F900 series aircraft. P/N SBJ33181-001 is applicable for the F50EX (-40 engines only) and is listed in the unscheduled maintenance manual WC 05-50-00-700-803.
It’s located on the end of the discharge line and splits wide open during the force of the extinguishing agent. To replace this silicone nipple, removal of the engine after-body and green sheets is required for access.
