Duncan Aviation’s non-United States aircraft sales and acquisition team got off to a flying start with several exclusive consignment listings in our first few months of operation. Duncan Aviation is now representing a Hawker 850XP, a Citation Excel and a Premier 1A in the EMEA region. The team is also working on a number of other prospective listings, including a Learjet 60SE and a Learjet 60XR, a Global Express, a Challenger 605, a G550, a Legacy 500 and a Citation XLS.
There’s much media circulating about falling aircraft values but, in reality, if you buy an aircraft that is older than five years, you’ll see only 2% - 3% depreciation per year. Although there are certainly times when a new aircraft makes sense for a buyer, this anticipated low depreciation rate for aircraft that are only a few years old shows what great value the pre-owned sector represents.
Another positive is that the percentage of the global bizav fleet that is for sale is now lower than at any time since the start of the GFC (Global Financial Crisis). That HAS to be good news for us all. However, the percentage of aircraft that are aged remains high as they are generally less appealing for the EMEA.
The first listings for the team were generated in Turkey, Ukraine and the UK, so it’s clear we are ready to travel to assist you with your aircraft sales or acquisitions. Give me a call at +44 7836 352 676 or +44 203 87 89 86 or email Tim.Barber@DuncanAviation.com.
