If you find it necessary to remove either one of the standby fuel boost pumps on a Falcon 2000EZ with its respective tank group empty of fuel yet electrical power is still required for other tasks, make sure to pull all four fuel boost pump circuit breakers.
Even if the cockpit overhead boost pump switches are selected and stated to be off, the normal boost pump will automatically come on if either one of its respective standby boost pump circuit breakers are pulled. The 500JT switch in the copilot’s side maintenance panel has no effect in stopping this scenario.
This is one of those Gotchas that is not clearly defined in the maintenance or wiring manuals.
