The Hawker starter contact assemblies, PN LDA200-B18C, are installed on the Hawker 125 Series 1 A/B, 3 A/B, 400 A/B, 600, 700, 750, 800, 800XP, 850XP, and 900XP aircraft. The contacts are made of silver cadmium oxide, a rare, hard-to-find, and corrosion-resistant material that is electrically stable at a high current. However, like all metal, it gets worn down over usage, time, and environmental conditions. Replacing these contacts from the OEM will cost $10,000.
Duncan Aviation has developed an Approved Repair Procedure and new contacts. We are able to change the contacts and repair the assembly for less than 50% of the OEM list price.
