Bombardier has issued Advisory Wires that address premature failure of M85052/2 clamps, particularly those with blue cushion material, which can deteriorate and cause chafing of hydraulic tubing. Both blue and purple clamps have the same part number (M85052/2).
The issue has been resolved by removing affected clamps from inventory and implementing a quality control process. During maintenance, operators should inspect and replace any deteriorated clamps, especially in the aft compartment, to prevent hydraulic line damage.
