The temperature control system on the Cessna 525 can be rather difficult to troubleshoot considering the many components involved. In an effort to help control the costs of troubleshooting, Cessna has released a new in-flight procedure and form for 525 operators who are experiencing temperature control issues.
The new procedure will log engine speed and ITT parameters when the aircraft is in certain configurations. This information could help narrow down the potential problem and if provided prior to inputting your aircraft in for maintenance, could help to avoid the high cost of troubleshooting and limit aircraft downtime. The form can be found on the Cessna website.
