The potential exists for the front pilot and co-pilot window heat wires to arc to ground if improperly installed during the re-installation of the overhead panel. These wires lead from the glass panes to the two electrical junction blocks, located between the aircraft skin and the overhead switch panel.
After dropping the switch panel, inspect both wires for any signs of kinking or insulation damage where the wire enters the overhead switch panel cavity. Additional protection of the wires is encouraged along with care in its routing during panel re-installation.
Dassault is conducting further investigations for specific wire routing and inspections procedures.
