Falcon 7X Wing to Winglet Splice Plate Corrosion

Dassault Falcon Jet has issued Falcon Service Advisory 57-10-009-R00-A concerning corrosion of the top and bottom wing to winglet splice plate. Proceed with caution when removing the KS35 filling compound. This material is a hard structural adhesive and care must be taken when performing task AMM 20-32-00-390-801 so the composite winglet skin is not damaged. Also, this splice plate is not considered a primary structural element, so the post blending of corrosion is subject to a maximum of 10% of the parent material.
