Update: Honeywell Discontinuation Of Nav Database Updates For Pre-NZ 6.1 FMS

Honeywell ended FMS Navigation database updates on September 30, 2022, for all versions of the NZ FMS prior to version NZ 6.1 on all aircraft that have a certified path to upgrade. This is a permanent discontinuation of support for all NZ FMSs prior to NZ 6.1.

Honeywell is offering a one-time bridge subscription not to go beyond September 30, 2023.  In order to qualify for this bridge subscription, you must have a scheduled input date for the upgrade to have it accomplished before September 30, 2023.

If you’re in a position where your aircraft’s FMS has not yet been upgraded to 6.1 and do not have access to a Nav database, we encourage you to contact the nearest Duncan Aviation satellite location.
