LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that its Engineering and Certification Department has completed its eighth full-equipment Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Gogo Business Aviation (NASDAQ: GOGO) AVANCETM L5 in-flight Wi-Fi system for Cessna Citation 750 aircraft. Duncan Aviation has completed seven additional STCs for this popular, reliable Wi-Fi system, and the STC covers the Wi-Fi certification and full equipment and antenna installation required to provide in-flight connectivity to the Gogo Biz® 4G network.
This most recent STC for the AVANCE L5 system was completed at Duncan Aviation’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. All of the STCs that the Engineering and Certification teams have completed for this Gogo Business Aviation system are available throughout the United States and can be installed at any of Duncan Aviation’s three full-service facilities and at any of its 27 Satellite Shops and workaway stations. Additionally, Duncan Aviation has sought and received approval from Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) for the STCs for most of the following makes/models:
“Lead by Certification Coordinator Ayui Murata, the Engineering & Certification Team was supported by Duncan Aviation’s Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Unit Members and administrators as well as our friends at the Aircraft Certification Office (ACO) in Wichita, Kansas,” says Manager of Business Development for Engineering & Certification Shawn Carraher. “Demand remains strong for in-flight connectivity, and the Duncan Aviation STCs have been used for more than 183 installations of the Gogo AVANCE L5 Wi-Fi system.”
Gogo AVANCE L5 connects to the Gogo Biz 4G network, delivering faster speeds and enhanced network capacity, enabling activities such as live streaming video and audio, video conferencing, personal smartphone use, real-time data for cockpit apps, and remote diagnostics and support while in flight.
