LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation knows there’s a great deal of technical information coming at us in the business aviation industry. As with much of the tech world, information changes as new products and services are introduced. In an effort to keep customers as aware of the cutting-edge technologies as the company’s sales teams and technicians, Duncan Aviation publishes and updates a series called Straight Talk, and it includes books, videos, and podcasts.

In January, a team of avionics sales professionals at Duncan Aviation updated the information in the Airspace Modernization Straight Talk Book. The book covers the FAA’s Airspace Modernization initiatives, including mandates in the US and throughout the world, and talks about what types of equipment are necessary to take advantage of the new technologies.

“We believe our efforts to condense this information addresses many concerns regarding the airspace modernization of the air transportation system,” says Senior Avionics Sales Rep Dennis Kruse. “The overview we provide explains the many systems, standards, and policies and procedures that will provide owner/operators greater efficiency and safety in airspace the world over.”

Airspace modernization is a necessity in a world where there are increasing numbers of bigger, faster aircraft flying each day. As mentioned in the book, with the implementation of technologies such as Future Air Navigation Systems (FANS) and Automatic Dependent Surveilance-Broadcast (ADS-B), soon owner/operators will see that the best-equipped aircraft will be the best served at airports in the United States and throughout the world.
