Duncan Aviation’s Top 5 STCs

LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation’s Engineering & Certification Services department is pleased to announce the Top 5 most-in-demand Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) during the 2019 calendar year. This year, with the FAA’s Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) mandate deadline just weeks away, you may have expected to see a few of the Top 5 selling STCs related to ADS-B Out, and there are two. The other three STCs rounding out the top five are for the Gogo Business Aviation’s AVANCE L5 wi-fi system, for which demand has been steady.

Here are the Top 5 Duncan Aviation STCS for 2019

  1. ADS-B for Cessna Citation 560/560XL
  2. Gogo AVANCE L5 wi-fi system for Challenger 600
  3. Gogo AVANCE L5 wi-fi system for Challenger 300/350
  4. ADS-B for Hawker 800/800XP

The more than 100 STCs the Engineering and Certification Services teams have developed are housed in the company’s STC Library (DuncanAviation.aero/services/engineering/stc-library), and all are available immediately. Search by Aircraft, STC Category or view the entire list. If you don’t see an STC for your make and model or for your specific need, call the Manager of Engineering & Certification Business Development Shawn Carraher at 402.479.4201.

“A good percentage of the requests for quotes we’ve been getting are for connectivity, and we expect demand to remain strong throughout 2020,” says Regional Avionics Sales Manager John Spellmeyer.
