LINCOLN, NEB. — Operators across the Midwest and Eastern United States will benefit from expanded turbine engine support with the addition of Tony Rossi as Duncan Aviation’s newest Turbine Engine Service Sales Representative. Based out of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rossi will provide expert engine guidance and support to customers across Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
With more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, Rossi brings a deep technical understanding of turbine engines that helps customers make informed maintenance decisions. His career is rooted in a lifelong fascination with aircraft that began when he joined the US Air Force at age 17, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, a veteran of the Army Air Corps.
Rossi’s extensive background is significant for Duncan Aviation customers. He holds both A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) and IA (Inspection Authorization) certificates, ensuring that his recommendations are backed by high-level technical proficiency and aligned with real-world maintenance requirements.
Rossi spent the last 13 years at JSSI as a Product Line Specialist, managing the PW500 engine product line. His ability to facilitate cost-effective, high-quality overhauls and manage complex maintenance schedules allows him to help customers plan strategically, reduce downtime, and control maintenance costs.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Tony’s caliber stepping into this position,” said Troy Nail, Duncan Aviation Airframe and Engine Technical Sales Manager. “He brings a powerful combination of technical engine knowledge, customer service, and a large network of connections. Tony is highly respected across the aviation community, and we look forward to the momentum his expertise will bring.”
Having previously worked with Duncan Aviation as a vendor, Rossi was drawn to the company’s family-owned culture and sterling reputation. While his primary focus is on engine services, his knowledge of aircraft allows him to act as a total-support resource for his clients.
“I look forward to being able to walk into a hangar and support everything,” Rossi said. “Even though I represent engine services, my goal is to ensure all of a customer’s needs are addressed through the broader Duncan Aviation network.”
Outside of his professional life, Tony is an avid outdoorsman and a big game hunter. He enjoys fly fishing, archery, and shooting sports. He also owns and trains two Hungarian Vizslas, Zara and Zella, and is the third generation of his family to own the breed. Tony has one daughter, Isabel.
Operators seeking support with turbine engine maintenance planning or overhaul strategies are encouraged to contact Rossi directly. Tony Rossi can be reached at +1 412.299.0450 or via email at Tony.Rossi@DuncanAviation.com.
