Pigs Can Fly

Duncan Aviation transformed a wildly creative Ripley’s Believe It or Not! concept into a 17-color flying work of art on a Citation 560XLS+. A bright pink winged pig—complete with a gold nose ring and squeaky chicken earring—stretches across the fuselage amid clouds, oversized graphics, and vivid pops of blue, red, and yellow. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! branding on the engines helps carry the story across nearly every surface. Bringing the design to life required Duncan Aviation’s design and paint teams to translate flat artwork across the aircraft’s curves, contours, wings, engines, and fuselage. Through close collaboration, precise layout, and carefully sequenced painting and masking, the team created a bold, cohesive finish designed to turn heads, make people smile, and prove that pigs really can fly.
