Navigating Supply Chain Challenges

Published November 15, 2021

This episode was originally released on NBAA's "Flight Plan" podcast series. From NBAA:

The global supply chain crisis has hit business aviation just when the industry is experiencing a resurgence in flight activity. How can operators and support providers adapt to mounting shortages of critical parts and materials? “We’re trying to do a better job of forecasting [and] encouraging our customers to schedule further in advance,” says Duncan Aviation COO Mike Minchow, “not only to secure the labor capacity and hangar spot, but also so that we can get some of these long-lead-time parts on order so that the overall maintenance schedule isn’t disrupted by some of these supply chain issues.”

In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:

  • Jens Hennig, Vice-President, Operations, General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA)
  • Mike Minchow, Chief Operating Officer, Duncan Aviation
