James Carroll joined Duncan Aviation’s Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions team in 2025 and is based in London, enhancing the company’s presence across the EMEA region. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, James brings more than 20 years of aviation experience spanning airport operations, maintenance programs, and aircraft transactions.
His career includes leadership roles with Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), where he served as Director of Business Development for Western Europe, and with Gama Aviation, where he implemented strategies to expand base maintenance operations, developed vendor agreements, and helped the company secure key authorizations as Head of MRO Sales.
Throughout his career, James has been recognized for several notable achievements. At Heathrow, he became the youngest person to be promoted to Duty Manager. While at JSSI, he was the first team member outside the United States to earn the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers. He is frequently invited to speak at international conferences as a subject matter expert on maintenance programs and aircraft values, and in 2023, he was elected to the Board of the British Business and General Aviation Association.
James and his wife live in the UK with their young son. Outside of work, he enjoys driving and maintaining his vintage Porsche, traveling, cooking, walking, and playing tennis when time allows. Aviation remains both his profession and his passion, with a career dedicated to helping clients make confident, well-informed aircraft ownership decisions.
