Founded by Donald Duncan, an entrepreneur with a passion for aviation, the vision to recognize in the 1950s how air travel would help businesses grow, and a talented aircraft salesman, Duncan Aviation has remained family-owned for 70 years. Donald’s son, Robert Duncan, and his wife, Karen, fostered the service and support side of business aviation and introduced many concepts that have transformed the business aviation industry over the years. Robert is now Chairman Emeritus. Donald’s grandson, Todd Duncan, Chairman, and his wife, Connie, continued to invest in company facilities and team members, and share the passion for developing relationships and making connections. Todd and Connie’s twin boys, PK and Harrison have also joined the company, serving on the Board of Advisors and working in various leadership roles.

As an independent, family-owned company, Duncan Aviation is able to focus solely on what is best for its customers—without pressure from outside investors or competing corporate interests. That independence allows for long-term investments in people, training, tooling, and facilities, and supports consistent decision-making rooted in relationships rather than quarterly results. For customers, this means stability, accountability, and a partner committed to supporting their aircraft and their success for generations to come.

What began as a small aircraft sales business has grown to more than 3,000 team members, all focused on supporting and servicing the most popular business jets flying today. With three full-service MRO facilities strategically located in Battle Creek, Michigan; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Provo, Utah; 28 Satellite Shops positioned across the United States, dedicated Rapid Response Teams ready to deploy at a moment’s notice, and additional team members supporting customers worldwide, Duncan Aviation delivers comprehensive support wherever business aircraft operate and travel.
This broad footprint and deep bench of technical expertise mean customers benefit from consistent processes, shared technical knowledge, and standardized quality across every location. Whether an aircraft is in for a major inspection, avionics upgrade, paint and interior refurbishment, or requires immediate AOG support, Duncan Aviation delivers responsive service backed by the resources of an industry leader—minimizing downtime and keeping aircraft where they belong: in the air.

Since inception, Duncan Aviation has completed more than 3,750 aircraft sales and acquisition transactions, giving customers deep market insight and proven negotiation expertise. Our worldwide connections, combined with three full-service MRO facilities working on 114 business aircraft every day, and a global team of 3,000 experts, allow us to identify aircraft, evaluate condition and value, and uncover off-market opportunities before they become public. Sellers benefit from realistic market positioning, early identification of maintenance considerations, and smoother transactions with fewer last-minute negotiations—helping preserve value and close with confidence.
In 2025 alone, Duncan Aviation supported 9,256 unique business aircraft across 85 countries—experience that directly helps our customers make confident, well-informed buying and selling decisions.
