Parts Sales, Reimagined Online

65.1 Fact-Spring 2026_AVPAC Photo.jpg

Since 1984, the mission has remained clear: get operators the parts they need to stay airborne—now faster and easier than ever through a powerful online experience. What began as AVPAC (Aviation Parts and Communication) has grown over four decades into Duncan Aviation PRS (Parts & Rotables Sales), the world’s largest family-owned parts organization, with DuncanAviationParts.com at the center of how customers access it all.

While the name changed in 2004 to reflect expanded capabilities, our focus has always remained on one person: the customer. Today, that focus is delivered through a seamless e-commerce platform where operators can search inventory, view real-time pricing, purchase parts, and manage documentation in just a few clicks.

65.2 Fact-Spring 2026_eCommerce-screenshot 1.jpg

Our early success was driven by innovation, including a pioneering consignment model that allowed owners to turn idle inventory into fast cash. By 1994, our reach had expanded to 90 countries. As the industry evolved, we grew alongside it—expanding our rotable inventory to provide flexible exchange options for Hawker, Citation, Falcon, Learjet, and more.

Customers have instant access to more than $500 million in available inventory and 723,000 line items online. Behind the platform, our team supports an average of 238 calls and 432 emails daily, with RFQ response times averaging just 46 minutes—ensuring speed both digitally and personally.

Through DuncanAviationParts.com and the myDuncan portal, customers can quickly find and buy what they need, while we ship an average of 324 parts each day to keep aircraft moving.

When an aircraft is AOG, speed matters most. That’s why our global reach spans 192 countries with 24/7 support—combining real-time online access with around-the-clock expertise to deliver solutions without delay.

NDT: Preventing Problems Early

66.1 Fact-Spring 2026_0A5A2574 Edit.jpg

Much of aircraft safety happens out of sight and for decades, Duncan Aviation’s NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) teams have been doing exactly that—finding what the eye can’t see before it turns into a larger issue. Today, we operate one of the largest fully certified NDT teams in the industry, with all main locations offering Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic, and Eddy Current testing. Every technician is NAS410 Level 2 or Level 3 certified, supporting both in-shop inspections and mobile services that bring expertise directly to the aircraft.

That capability continues to grow. In April of 2024 the NDT laboratory in Battle Creek—now double the size of the previous facility—features upgraded Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant equipment and supports a strengthened team.

In 2025 alone, all of our NDT teams completed 190 mobile road services across the country, providing critical inspection support exactly where and when it was needed.

What it means for customers: earlier detection, faster answers, and fewer disruptions. On-site NDT services help minimize downtime, improve scheduling flexibility, and keep aircraft moving—while still meeting the industry’s most demanding safety and regulatory requirements.

A Learjet Legacy

67.1 Fact-Spring 2026_Donald Duncan on Phone-gigapixel-wonder-2x-faceai v2.jpg

Donald Duncan, the founder of Duncan Aviation, was a visionary and entrepreneur. He took chances and made deals, all with a handshake. Recognizing the value of the Learjet market, he led Duncan Aviation to become one of the original Learjet Aircraft Sales Distributors in 1963.

In 1966, Learjet airframe maintenance became a more significant part of Duncan Aviation’s future as the company shifted from being a sales distributor to one of the first independently owned Learjet Authorized Service Centers, a designation all three Duncan Aviation MRO facilities still hold today.

Duncan Aviation is still servicing Learjets. Check out our Services.
