Duncan Aviation’s Engineering & Certification Services department is pleased to announce the Top 5 most-in-demand Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) during the 2019 calendar year. This year, with the FAA’s Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) mandate deadline just weeks away, you may have expected to see a few of the Top 5 selling STCs related to ADS-B Out, and there are two. The other three STCs rounding out the top five are for the Gogo Business Aviation’s AVANCE L5 wi-fi system, for which demand has been steady.

Duncan Aviation Unveils Commissioned Aircraft Design on Company Aircraft at Private Vernissage

Duncan Aviation recently held a private unveiling, called a vernissage in the fine art world, of the exterior and interior completion of one of its company aircraft. The commissioned design was created by renowned artist Nancy Friedemann Sánchez, a Colombian-American contemporary artist who has held exhibitions across the world and is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Duncan Aviation’s Dallas Satellite Avionics Shop Moves

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that its Satellite Avionics Shop in Dallas, Texas, has moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. Long-time partner Tectonic Management Group built the new hangar complex for another long-time Duncan Aviation partner, Business Jet Center at Love Field. The Dallas Avoinics Satellite Shop now has dedicated hangar space and new shop and office space that let the Dallas team work on aircraft inside the hangar, have a more organized avionic testing bench, and a spacious new office in which to greet customers.
