Duncan Aviation Installs Its Fifth Garmin G5000

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce its Satellite facility in St. Paul, Minn., recently installed its third—the company’s fifth--Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck in a customer’s Citation Excel aircraft. After removing the entire cockpit, the crew in St. Paul installed the G5000, which includes bright, high-resolution, color displays, touchscreen interfaces with audible feedback, Automatic Flight Guidance and Control Systems, GPS, Synthetic Vision System (SVS), and real-time weather, chart, traffic, and terrain information on the large moving maps that provide pilots with a great deal of situational awareness.

Duncan Aviation’s Booth #2401 Will Have Increased Ions/Air Purification

Duncan Aviation has worked with Aviation Clean Air (ACA) to have some of their portable Ion Distribution Units in use throughout the Duncan Aviation booth during the NBAA Convention Oct. 12-14 in Las Vegas. These portable, electric-powered ionization units have been adapted for use in decontaminating the air and surfaces in aircraft interiors while on the ground as well as other passenger areas such as lounges, boarding areas and holding areas. The units will create increased air ions throughout Duncan Aviation’s booth during the show, potentially providing pathogen protection while allowing show attendees to see the units and learn about the benefits of patented Bipolar Ionization technology in their aircraft.
