Andy Richards Named Executive VP & COO of Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Michigan, Facility

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Andy Richards, a 22-year veteran of the company, has been named the new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. As Vice President of Modifications & Completions for the last seven years, Richards will be stepping into his new role on March 8 as current Executive Vice President and COO Tom Burt retires after 40 years with the company.

Duncan Aviation would like to wish Tom Burt, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the company’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, congratulations as he plans to retire from day-to-day operations on March 8. After a year and a half at the Duncan Aviation facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, Kasey Harwick has returned to the company’s Lincoln, Nebraska, location and assumed the role of Vice President of Maintenance for the Airframe Department. Travis Grimsley has accepted the position of Director of Maintenance for the aircraft services group in Battle Creek, Michigan, where he is also now a part of the Duncan Aviation Senior Management Team.

Duncan Aviation Signs PRES Agreement With Honeywell

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce the signing of a new PRES (Parts Reclamation Engine Surplus) agreement with Honeywell Aerospace. This agreement applies to Honeywell TFE731-2 & -3 engines and engine parts and re-authorizes Duncan Aviation to purchase, inspect, repair as necessary, and recertify serviceable parts using Honeywell technical information. All parts are returned to service with a signed FAA 8130-3 and EASA dual-release tag.
